Naomi Taussig has been the Cantorial Soloist at Temple Sholom since 2009. She grew up in the Vancouver Jewish community, and fell in love with Israel dancing when she spent a year of high school in Israel on a Zionist Youth program. After high school Naomi returned to Israel, completing a Bachelor of Arts degree at Haifa University and later studying Israeli Dance at the Wingate Institute.  Israeli dance has been Naomi's therapeutic outlet for many years, and she is thrilled to share her dance passion with any one who is up for giving it a try!
