Retired gerontologist with 30 years experience as a recreation worker, social worker, trainer and consultant. Political activist, environmentalist, founder of Integrated Care Advocacy and Municipal Councillor on City Council of Coquitlam. Founder of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Vancouver. We completed the building of 27 townhouses in Burnaby and the organization continues to flourish. Writer and author of the following published works: "Dealing With Memory Changes As You Grow Older", "Challenges of Later Life", My Dance With Shechina",and "Kissing An Old Dream Goodbye". I have also translated from the Hebrew to the English, "The Life and Times of Rabbi Simcha Bunim" by H.M.Rabinovitch. My more recent preoccupation is the study of elder wisdom: what is it? How to cultivate it? What can it mean for society?
