The account of the binding of Isaac by his father Abraham contains a number of hidden allusions revealed by the Midrash and other writings. There are also new interpretations that can be inferred by the language. The ethical and life lessons buried in this account are informative and reach to the heart of what it mains to be faithful to the words of the Creator. Some of the themes have been used by spiritual paths outside of Judaism.

I am a Rabbi and retired Psychologist.  I am fascinated by language especially as used in Torah.   I have created a number of translations and some liturgy.  The hidden spiritual messages in ordinary conversation is of special interest to me.
