The Convivialist Manifesto: Imagine!

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Liberal pluralist democracy is on the decline having succumbed to rentier, speculative, techno and surveillance, capitalism. This counter-democratic capitalist hegemony drives division, environmental devastation and violent conflict. It finally faces vigorous resentment worldwide and must be urgently invalidated. The Convivialist Manifesto offers a counter-hegemonic vision and reasoning, fitting for our time and condition, and a program, for a post-neoliberal world. It articulates the “ideational glue” that would lift the tens of thousands of associations and networks, and hundreds of millions of people globally, including in the Middle East, out of a state of self-perceived impotence, and revitalize a common spirit of agency against the odds of our glo-cal conditions. In fact, many parallels can be found in Jewish scriptures and tradition.
